Inter Milan unlikely to meet Sports Minister

Italian Serie A champions Football Club Internazionale Milano, better known as Inter Milan, will likely be unable to meet Youth and Sports Minister Andi Mallarangeng as he is undergoing questioning at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Thursday.

During Inter Milan’s five-day visit in Indonesia, the team will attend series of events, including two friendly matches against Indonesian teams and a planned meeting with the minister at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Unfortunately, Andi was questioned as a witness in an alleged graft case surrounding the Hambalang sports training center development project in West Java, at the KPK building at 9:30 a.m.

Should the Inter Milan squad fail to meet the minister, they will only have a match against Indonesians’ selection league at Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, South Jakarta, on their second day in Jakarta.

The 38 Inter players and officials are due to fly back to Italy on Sunday.
